Overview

Dana Bentata is a partner with the Firm and Head of the Intellectual Property Group. She advises clients on a full range of intellectual property matters, including the international protection, clearance and registrations of trademarks and patents. Her practice encompasses all aspects of intellectual property portfolio management and extends to unfair competition, copyright, IP contracts, and the acquisition and protection of non-traditional trademarks. Dana represents companies across the North American, Latin American, and European regions in various industries, including the pharmaceutical, consumer products, fashion, retail, automotive and food and beverage industries.

Prior to joining the Firm in 1993, Dana worked at an international financial institution in Caracas, Venezuela. She is a graduate of the Universidad Central Santa Maria and the George Washing University School of Law.
