The Geographical Indications Committee develops and advocates our policies on the impact of geographical indications (GIs) and their enforcement on trademark rights. The Committee monitors and analyzes developments in treaties, legislation, and implementation in various jurisdictions, and proposes policy recommendations to the Board.
